The service supports UCSC scholars to:
- use the UCSC OPAC
- use available electronic resources (databases, e-journals, e-books)
- navigate the Library's services
- conduct targeted research in specific subject areas
- retrieve information from external directories, bibliographies and catalogs
- learn how to create bibliographies for theses with RefWorks (tool for archiving and reusing bibliographic citations)
- develop effective personal research strategies
It is not possible to require the text revision and the commission of bibliographical risearches (instead of the user), the completion of complete bibliographies, IT consultancy assistance, the stamp or submission of files or documentations, translations, medical or legal advices and information against someone privacy.
How to use the service
You can request the service by going in person to the reference point inside the BiblioPoint, or by contacting the Library in the following ways:
