In the Library's rooms, studying with personal books and computers is allowed only after booking a seat (excluding those in the Giuseppe Billanovich Reference Room) through Affluences, free app for iPhone and Android smartphones.

Booking with Affluences is also required to use the Bloomberg and Refinitiv Workspace/Datastream database workstations in the Branch Library at Via Necchi 5.

You can use it in the following ways:

• from your smartphone, after downloading it from the App Store or Google Play
• via the Affluences web pages (in Italian) for UCSC Milan campus:

> seat's reservation for consultation and personal study

> workstation's reservation for economic sciences databases

Warning

In order to verify the real use of the reserved seats and allow the unused ones to become available again to other users, each seat is marked with an identification number associated with a QRcode displayed in the hall: before sitting down, user must scan it with own smartphone to confirm his presence.

If this confirmation is not given within 35 minutes, the seat will be released and will become available again to other users.

For the orderly conduct of the service, users are required to respect the reservation made and to occupy in the room only the reserved seat.
