Electronic resources
In the OPAC users of all the UCSC campuses can simultaneously access to electronic resources:
databases
complex archives of data (often with abstracts and / or full-text) pages in publishing platforms that allow multiple search modes
e-journals
periodicals in electronic format accessible to individual websites dedicated or publishing platforms that include different periodicals
e-books
monographs in electronic format pages in publishing platforms that include different titles
In the OPAC users can search by name from the main page, or by using the special section:
This collection includes electronic resources of the leading international publishers, such as Brepols, Cambridge University Press, Ebsco, Elsevier, Oxford University Press, ProQuest, Springer, Thomson and Wiley-Blackwell.
The special section "Electronic resources" lists all databases, full-text e-journals and e-books held by the UCSC Library System.
Each listing contains a general description, an explanation of how to access the text and the terms and conditions of use of the database.
Off-campus access
The on-line access to the UCSC collection of electronic resources is also available from pc outside the campus. For more information, please visit the page:
