Central Library hall
The extensive Central Library hall has more than 200 seats available for UCSC users to:
- consult the books stored in the Library’s main archive, in the Communication and Performing Arts section and in the Confucius Institute Fund
- study with their own resources and personal computers
This hall is also equipped with terminals connected to the UCSC OPAC; these are available for students to search/request print books and journals and to consult subscribed electronic resources.
The access to the Central Library is regulated by electronic turnstiles.
The Media Library
Inside the Central Library hall is also available a room equipped for the viewing of the Library's DVD and the consulting of the Teche Rai, with a bibliographic consulting point for the research and the use of the documentary resources of Media and Performing Arts.
