Giuseppe Billanovich Reference Room
This special room (which is not only attended by UCSC faculty and students but also by italian and international scholars) has about 200 seats, with areas enabled by connecting personal laptops to the University network.
You can search for open shelves and consult:
- bibliographies, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, indexes, general works and collections of sources, commentary and texts
- new acquisitions (collected in a separate section)
- bibliographical works on DVD and CD-ROM (in a small room located at the entrance)
After a previous request, in this room you can also read:
- works belonging to the special collections Negri Oleggio Library and Silvio Cipriani Fund
- manuscripts, incunabula, sixteenth-century works and other books published from 1601 to 1850
